This cute little poinsettia bird, called a gallasettia or gallaflora, is admired in the Sipporah universe for its brightly colored flowery tail. These “feathers” are indeed actual leaves/petals, although they are stronger than ordinary leaves so that they are less likely to tear when the gallasettia roams about and interacts with other animals.
